Scenery Fantastic

Brazen play on port continues unabashedly with my family this summer at our summer home in the Empire State – that is New York. It is a summer filled with sweatathon 8 mile runs, swims and water play including jet skiing and power boating. This afternoon we are putting in a new boat lift for the power boat to accommodate the new sail boat we are getting soon for our son Cadence to party on next summer. I am really enjoying the time together. Cadence is growing rapidly and really enjoying the bounty of play in the great outdoors.

Liquid Infatuation

Never run out of breath. East Coast is our destination for the second time this summer. I wake up each morning and go for my 8 mile run, followed by a swim and then boating. Cadence has taken to the life aquatic like fish to water. He is learning power boating and swimming with Daddy every day.

Jetstream Lover

Every summer we make a pilgrimage to the East Coast to bathe in the splendor of natural beauty, humidity, boating and the waves. Katie is at home here. I am happy to go on my daily 8-mile runs, swims, or hike nearby mountains and enjoy phenomenal meals. Ah, rejuvenation in Eden.

Come To My Place: Great Summer On The East Coast

.

The feelings awakened by the scenery are unlike any others. The sky overhead is nature’s canvas. She dips into her palette and colors visions of glowing geometric designs around the sun and moon, and dancing rainbow of light across the heavens with all the brilliant hues of the spectrum. What we experience as color in the sky are solar beams passing through tiny, floating ice crystals or water droplets in the atmosphere. The striking halo involves various combinations of four basic mechanisms: reflection, refraction, diffraction, and scattering. As you look out, the water is now calm and still and as bright as if molten silver. Its surface is stirred up by the wind or by a large fish. The lofty mountains rise up in the distance with names like rattlesnake, and seem to stand in the majesty of solitude. They repose like monsters, too independent to emit a single sound. It is a place that imposes its own rules. By learning them and respecting the ways of the uncontrolled world we come to the kind of peace that brings humankind to marvel at a silent, pure capacity of nature.
