Big Snow Day, Everyday

MOUNTAINS FOR ALL THEIR PHYSICAL, AESTHETIC, AND MENTAL BENEFITS can be incredibly desolate places. The mountain is there for us to journey inward, to come face to face with the sublime inner metal of which we are all made of. Imagine escaping to the mountain where stress is replaced with serenity, and cares smoothed away by an uplifting inner journey. Mountain we speak of is sanctuary surrounded by snow. Piles upon piles in its pristine, natural glory. MOUNTAIN TEACHES US TO JOURNEY INTO FEARLESSNESS by overcoming pride and letting go of story. If strapping your feet inside planks of wood, and accelerating down a cliff is NOT your idea of fun, I suggest you try it. Mountain encourages us to overcome inhibitions and stare down fears. Mountain makes us focus on where we want to go rather than where we have been. This high-altitude inner journey is a bit indulgent, restorative, soothing, romantic, and sublime. Mountain is beautiful.

In Nature Is The Preservation Of The World

Nature captures our attention without consciously focusing on it. Nature provides the opportunity to replenish our senses and recalibrate our minds for attention control. The longer we spend in green landscapes the more it soothes and restores.

Breathtaking Nature Renews In Yosemite

Something happens when you ascend the sacred winding road that leads into the Sequioa National forest. Yosemite is humbling–the kind of place that gently, but firmly, reminds mortals that we are merely a blip in the timeline of nature. Recent rains have brought a sense of renewal from the impact of fires, drought and beetle infestation. The imposing beauty of Yosemite National Park with its natural wonders both large and small extends 1170 square miles along California's Sierra Nevada range. These wonders of nature await your arrival this fall and winter.

Oldboy On Campus

Cars,
familiar faces,
all along Hogsback where the run was long and hard,
by the Memorial Chapel, Arthur Bishop house and Lower School yard.
Sitting together,
shaking hands, laughs and good times,
most sit and drink,
and few sit and think.
1st Eleven, crew and rifle team,
marching, cadet ball and uniform thing.
Like the measured pulse of racing oars,
your name being shouted out for roll call,
shouts from the teachers, coaches and housemasters,
driving the legs through footstops,
when going for Gold meant rowing in a boat named Endurement

Soaked In Tradition

Thankful for the privilege of racing with such magnificent horses. The race began with seven boats in the varsity final, one more than is usually allowed. At 1000 meters boats were nearly even, our coxswain called a hard 30. At 1300 meters we were pulling ahead. At 1500 meters, we began taking it up for the last 500, winning the championship with open water in a highly competitive field. My gracious thanks to some remarkable oarsmen who have God like work ethic, stamina and genetic disposition of the perfect horse. Thank you to the amazing coaches who selflessly got us on the podium. Love, always.

A Constant State Of Readiness

A big dream has be trained for along with a bold vision for victory. The next victory will rarely just fall into your laps. Often, there are innate factors an athlete must consider and fight against to achieve the dream: resistance, conventions and rigid patterns of thinking. Whatever you fight for or against, nothing is achieved without passion, grit and determination. Go for your dreams.

Fun, It's Our Corporate Policy

Imagine a place where nature is allowed to reclaim the land amidst untouched splendor. This curious world which we inhabit is more beautiful, wonderful, and enjoyable than ever. In wilderness is the preservation of the world. Stay happy. Indulge the artistic flair for carving mountains.

A Privilege Of A Lifetime Is Being Who You Are

Be Perr-sisss-tennnnt. In 2022, my World's Boat is entering the Canadian Hall of Fame for Rowing. Deeply honored for the privilege of racing with vibrant oarsmen since age 16. Thankful that we have all remained in touch, of course, tackling life's other challenges doesn't seem so hard.

Why Jaguar F-Type Is The Sinuous Fastback To Have A Fling With

Few cars make you smile every time you see them. Today's homogeneous design makes it difficult to distinguish one cookie cutter vehicle from another, but the Jaguar F-Type is another story. It captures attention with its graceful, compact design.

Stylistically, the F-Type is the car the F-Type always wanted to be: a sinuous fastback with a sucked in waistline. The snout may be shorter than the vintage E-Type's, but it works in proportion to the cabriolet and the aggressive rear fenders. In the convertible, the steeply raked windshield seems like an unfinished bridge span, but with the fast moving roof up, it completes the thought, and the silhouette lands elegantly at the car's chamfered decklid, which conceals an active spoiler.

On the road, the responsiveness makes me want to try corners all day. Press the button for dynamic mode and the agile beast goes into full attack mode amplifying sound and faster shifts for you to play with in 8 gears. If you need to slow down, the brakes are dextrous as any agile athlete.

There's historical precedent in this rolling sculpture. It takes creative inspiration from the 1961 Jaguar E-Type which by many is regarded as sculpturally superior in design.
