A rakish Cadence stars as a model for an ad campaign for an elite junior prep school on the East Coast covered in mud and water. Pictured here are also some images for new ad campaign from Ralph Lauren Purple Label. It is no surprise that the sportsmen of England's elite schools in the 19th century had some influence on the modern man's style. Rowing clubs of Oxford and Cambridge used the word "blazer" to describe the blazingly, brightly colored jackets worn by rowers in the 1850s, eventually growing more ubiquitous over time into the semiformal jacket we know today. I love the new campaign. I am a fan of English tailoring including both Paul Smith and English inspired RL.
